As part of Landcom’s 50th anniversary celebrations, we’re proud to support the next generation of housing leaders.

Landcom’s new design competition with University of New South Wales Sydney, is challenging more than 30 final-year Master of Architecture students to develop housing concepts based on a real Landcom project.

Using The Joinery at Annandale as their case study, students are working with real planning controls, site constraints and community expectations to explore how more homes can be delivered without compromising design quality, affordability or sustainability.

The competition connects academic learning with the realities of housing delivery, giving students practical experience tackling some of the same challenges faced by planners, architects and developers every day.

The initiative reflects our commitment to supporting future industry leaders and encouraging innovative ideas that can help shape better housing outcomes for NSW.
