October 2025
The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has approved the planning proposal from Landcom to rezone vacant Council-owned land for residential use in Orange. The masterplan DA is now being assessed by Orange City Council.
Community consultation is a central part of how we plan at Landcom. It's one of the important ways we make sure the communities we deliver across NSW are not one-size-fits-all housing developments, but thriving, sustainable neighbourhoods that reflect what matters most to local people.
At Orange, we're working closely with both Council and the local community to shape a resilient neighbourhood that responds to local needs and reflects the unique character of the Central West. Visit Join In Landcom to view engagement reports and to stay up to date on upcoming opportunities and ways to get involved.
Redleaf is the future of sustainable living in Orange, with housing choices for people at every stage of life.
Nestled within parklands and tree-lined streets, this is an inclusive, safe and well-connected community with room to move, play and enjoy everyday life outdoors. It’s a neighbourhood designed to evolve with the people who live there too, so residents can connect, grow and shape the place they call home, together.
