First display homes open at Renwick

Landcom’s Renwick community has entered an exciting new stage with the first display homes opening, the first home now under construction and a fourth land release announced for March 17.

Illawarra-based Marksman Homes opened Renwick’s first display home on March 3, and three Allworth display homes will open on March 17. GJ Gardner Southern Highlands is planning to unveil its own display home in late April. The display homes provide prospective buyers a glimpse of the Highlands-inspired streetscapes Renwick is generating.

The first home at Renwick is also under construction. Becky Haylock and her family are expected to become the first residents at Renwick when their home is completed mid 2012. “Seeing our family’s new home at Renwick now under construction is so exciting and we can’t wait to move in around the middle of the year,” Ms Haylock said.

Meanwhile, Landcom has announced the fourth release of land at Renwick on Saturday, March 17, 2012, with 11 large lots being released for sale. The 11 lots near Bong Bong Rd range in size from 1000m² to 2000m² (or quarter to half acre), with prices from $270,000 to $350,000. The lots are classified as ‘easy building’ lots large enough for the construction of ‘dream homes’, according to General Manager, Corporate Marketing, Robert Sullivan.

“This fourth land release will bring the number of lots we have released for sale to 60, or one tenth of the eventual 600 lots that will make up the Renwick development in future years,” Mr Sullivan said. “Only four lots remain from previous releases and we expect these new large lots to sell quickly when they become available on March 17.”

Renwick is a 600-lot residential development, approximately 2.5 km north-east of Mittagong, with land lots ranging from 350m2 to an acre (4,000m2). The development will feature a village centre and walking and cycling paths and a third of the 115-hectare site will be retained as open space or parks.
