Welcome to Guntawong Road, Tallawong
Innovative new housing for Sydney’s burgeoning northwest
Current as at: January 2025
Planning, construction and sales
Project planning is underway. We are working with specialist consultants to prepare technical studies related to local traffic, the natural environment, urban design and public open space. Investigations will help us to prepare the necessary applications for development.
In 2025 we aim to lodge a development application with Blacktown City Council for earthworks, landscaping, roads and subdivision of a number of lots for future homes.
Subject to project approvals, in 2025 or 2026 we anticipate we will:
- start construction and landscaping works
- release sales information.

The project
In partnership with the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Landcom is working to deliver sustainable and affordable homes at Tallawong, in Sydney’s growing northwest.
Spanning 29 hectares, this transformative project will include around 700 homes, surrounded by vast green spaces to improve wellbeing and encourage a healthier lifestyle.
The diverse range of housing provides ‘traditional’ freestanding homes alongside other housing types, such as semi-detached homes and apartment blocks up to four storeys, providing greater housing choice.
Just moments from Tallawong Station and a range of amenities at Rouse Hill Town Centre, this project will set a new standard for housing development in northwest Sydney.
