Row of NSW Pattern Book terraces begin construction

Ed Park update march

Construction is well underway on the first terrace homes of the NSW Housing Pattern Book at our Edmondson Park project.

The design was created by Other Architects x NMBW Architecture Studio - a multi-dwelling design featuring up to three buildings linked by garden courtyards and designed to adapt to changing household needs.

The terrace design is one of 17 low and mid-rise designs launched by the NSW Government to help address the ‘missing middle’ and accelerate the delivery of new homes across the state.

Landcom will retain one of the homes as a demonstration home, with the remaining 6 to be sold to the market.

The new homes will join our growing Edmondson Park community, where more than 8,000 homes will be unlocked.

Landcom’s Edmondson Park project is shaping a diverse, well-located neighbourhood in Sydney’s South-West Growth Area, with homes close to public transport, schools, jobs and green space.

Thanks to Minister for Planning and Public Spaces Paul Scully and Member for Macquarie Fields The Hon. Anoulack Chanthivong MP who joined Landcom CEO for Alexander Wendler for a tour of the site.

The demonstration terraces are expected to be completed in early 2027.
