Edmondson Park update

27 Mar 2015

Expressions of Interest for the purchase of Edmondson Park town centre closed on the 27th March.

The village style (main-street) transit-oriented mixed use town centre site is located next to the new Edmondson Park train station. It has great access to the M5 and M7 Motorways and will be the first town centre on the South West Rail Line.

The town centre site is zoned B4 – Mixed Use, and it has Part 3A Concept Plan approval for up to 45,000m2 retail/commercial floor space and a minimum of 912 dwellings including apartments, town houses and terraces.

UrbanGrowth NSW has a strong vision for Edmondson Park Town Centre and is interested in working with developers who share its commitment to delivering sustainable communities with a focus on place making.

Stuart McCowan, Head of UrbanGrowth NSW’s Wholesale Division, said the team is looking to appoint a preferred tenderer in June 2015.
