Making new infrastructure happen for North Wilton
Lismore build to rent homes take shape
Construction is underway on new road infrastructure to support the growing North Wilton community, unlocking faster connections to the Campbelltown region and greater Sydney.
Landcom is building a new entry and exit ramp onto the Hume Motorway from Wilton, and a new three-lane bridge that replaces the current single-lane Niloc Bridge.
It supports Landcom’s ‘Panorama’ development, which is delivering about 5,600 new homes.
The new infrastructure will:
The project is funded by Landcom and will be transferred to Transport for NSW as the final asset owner.
Landcom has engaged Seymour Whyte Constructions as its principal contractor. Construction of the new bridge is programmed to be complete early 2027, in time for the new schools opening.
The existing Niloc Bridge will also be retained and transformed into a shared path for walking and cycling, creating a key east-west active transport link through Bingara Gorge and connecting to a new signalised pedestrian crossing.
Landcom is making new homes happen for Wilton and new infrastructure like roads, bridges and off ramps, are vital for creating this new community.
Residents will soon be able to get from A to B faster, whether they’re driving, cycling or walking.
This is part of our commitment to building safe, connected and sustainable communities.
