UrbanGrowth NSW has achieved its target to deliver 10,000 new home sites across Sydney between 2011 and 2015.
“UrbanGrowth NSW has released its 10,000th new home site and the most affordable new land release in Sydney, at its newest masterplanned community – Newbrook at Airds,” UrbanGrowth NSW Chief Executive David Pitchford said.
“The program’s completion comes more than three months ahead of schedule and demonstrates UrbanGrowth NSW’s commitment to our mandate, and our ability to deliver on it beyond expectations.
“Over the past four years we have delivered 10,000 home sites across 22 of our award-winning retail projects, including The Ponds, Oran Park Town, Bunya and Thornton.”
In total, 36 housing lots were offered for sale at Newbrook.
When complete, the 193 hectare master-planned community will feature three large parks (including 2 new playing fields and 1 large renovated park) playgrounds, a central pond, BBQ facilities, a community facility that will cater for a variety of recreational pursuits and extensive cycle and walking paths.
Stage One lots are easy building blocks which benefit from good access to existing facilities and transport corridors. Prices start from $230,000 with sizes ranging from 345sqm to 595 sqm.
This is the second private and public housing partnership that has been delivered to the market by UrbanGrowth NSW and NSW Land and Housing Corporation. The first was the nearby Campbelltown area project, One Minto, where UrbanGrowth NSW recently sold its last land lot.
