Our goal | Drive accountability and performance along our value chain

About Accountable & Collaborative Places

Accountable Collabirative v2We will be principled in our approach to urban development, and ensure our partners share our values.

Accountability means creating a system with a level playing field in which decisions are made for the betterment and benefit of all stakeholders. Performance means seeking ever greater improvements in efficiency and outcomes.

Our value chain refers to all organisations that we deal with in operations. By championing better ways to approach business, we seek to lead the industry in trust, transparency, governance and efficiency of outcomes.

Why is it so important?

Our commitment to business ethics ensures we follow a code of conduct and prevent corruption and fraud.

Our commitment to performance ensures we seek the best possible returns on public assets.

Related Sustainable Development Goals

To meaningfully contribute to any of the Sustainable Development Goals, we must have strong governance and accountability. This means Landcom, and our development partners and stakeholders, must commit to delivering sustainable urban environments – and we also ask our supply chain to get on board too.

In order to realise our own Strategy targets, it will require commitment from all of our stakeholders and beyond. This in turn will support our contribution towards the Sustainable Development Goals.

New Urban Agenda

habitat III

The New Urban Agenda has shared vision for cities and human settlements globally. That includes nations such as Australia, and those less fortunate. By embedding this shared vision for cities in the way we approach urban renewal, we can support the outcomes sought by the New Urban Agenda.

As with the Sustainable Development Goals, it will take commitment from Landcom, our development partners, stakeholders and broader supply chains to achieve great outcomes.
