Environmental Management System

Landcom has an accredited Environmental Management System (EMS).  Our EMS was certified in November 2000 by the independent body, Quality Assurance Services (QAS), as complying with the international standard ISO 14001. Landcom was the first land developer in Australia to be accredited under this standard. Our EMS provides the framework for Landcom to set objectives and manage and monitor its environmental risks.  

In order to maintain our ISO 14001 certification, our business practices and projects are audited by an independent accredited auditor annually for compliance with the ISO 14001 requirements.  

Landcom’s EMS looks at environmental impacts at acquisition, design and construction stage of each project identifying potential impacts throughout the life cycle of the project.
