About Us - Sustainability Conference featuring Precinx

New Ways to Sustainable Places

Landcom sustainability conference featuring the launch of Precinx TM

Landcom is finding new ways to create sustainable places. Many of the opportunities to make significant sustainability gains occur at the precinct or neighbourhood level, rather than house by house. This is what has driven Landcom to develop PRECINX - a mathematical modelling tool to measure the potential sustainability of neighbourhood-scale developments, against key environmental, social and economic criteria.

To coincide with the introduction of PRECINX to our industry colleagues, we invite you to a half day (optional full day) conference with cutting edge sustainability thought-leaders.

Hosted by James O’Loghlin and with a keynote address from internationally acclaimed environmentalist Dr. Tim Flannery, our speakers will explore current sustainability priorities and actions – local, nation and global – under the themes of ‘thinking,’ ‘doing,’ and ‘adapting.’ Director of Kinesis and Strategic Director of the Copenhagen Climate Council, Nick Rowley, will draw together the key lessons.

The morning conference will be followed by optional Landcom site tours and a demonstration and briefing on the PRECINX tool.
